BioAfter a decade working as engineers in Silicon Valley, my husband and I moved back to Oregon and bought a place in the country. Acreage suggested livestock, and we started selling eggs at the farmer's market in 1996 when our chickens outproduced our demand. We've added pasture-raised chicken, turkey, pork, lamb and goat since then.
